Putin's Personal and Political Life.

Vladimir Putin, the current President of Russia, has been married twice in his life. His first marriage was to Lyudmila Shkrebneva , whom he met in 1980 when they were both working in the same department at Leningrad State University. They got married in 1983 and have two daughters together, Maria and Yekaterina. The couple announced their divorce in 2013, after being married for 30 years.

In 2014, Putin publicly confirmed that he was in a long-term relationship with Alina Kabaeva, a former Olympic gymnast and now a politician. However, Putin has never officially confirmed that he and Kabaeva are married, and the status of their relationship remains a matter of speculation.

Apart from his personal life, Putin has been the President of Russia since 2000, and he previously served as Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. He is known for his authoritarian style of governance and his efforts to consolidate power within the Russian state.

During his presidency, Putin has faced criticism over allegations of human rights abuses, political repression, and suppression of press freedom. He has also been accused of meddling in the political affairs of other countries, including the United States, and of using Russian state resources to interfere in elections and promote propaganda.

Despite the controversies surrounding his leadership, Putin remains a popular figure in Russia and is widely seen as a strong and decisive leader who has restored stability and economic growth to the country after the tumultuous post-Soviet period !
